Hedwig Theeuwen had at an early age interested in art. She went to the "Academy of Fine Arts" in "Overpelt Neerpelt" from 15 this year.
After 5 years of hard work and college, she is after some years a private school started, with great success.
Sinds 2000 ishe is the private student of the master painter Hugo Verboven www.verboven.com
The last 6 years, she also makes sculptures.
Hedwig operates mainly in Belgium.
Her work has evolved over the years developed a pictures from realism to total abstraction.
The modern works have a unique concept by the structure and color.

Paintings
Painting for me is an expression of spontaneous expression of painstaking tests,
that found in most works back.
The paintings are not in one hit,
it requires thinking, and that can be fast, but can sometimes take a long time before any further work on.
When I start painting, I have the idea in my head how the painting should look like, when it would be.
I work in all kinds of materials.
oil, acrylic, aquarelle, pastel, pencil, Chinese ink.
But my preference is at this moment, more to acrylic and oil, because this 3D canvas can be painted, no frame needed, and more modern
Impresionisme attracts me the most, therefore, you will find this is reflected in most of my work.
Abstrackt figurative, has recently become more influence on the work that I make.

I was born in Overpelt, Belgium October 23, 1957. the youngest of 11 children, 5 sisters and brothers.
Always curious about the art of life.
I have 3 children,
Rachel ° 1982, Sara ° 1983, Symon ° 1985. Her very dear, and also 4 lovely grandchildren.
Art is enjoying, art show, art is what you perform, the work you put into it, art, art must remain.
